I've spent over 25 years financing commercial vans, which has allowed me to build fantastic relationships with customers and suppliers alike. I originally hail from Zimbabwe (which might explain the accent!). Outside of the office, I'm always on the golf course trying to get my handicap down, hitting the gym, or playing squash for Strathgryffe, where I'm proud to be the current Over 50's club champion. Although I currently drive an electric Porsche, my plan is to treat myself to my favourite car - a Bentley Continental GT - in the next few years.
My van career started in 2002 with Mercedes-Benz. My expertise grew through working with major names like VW Vans, Ford, and Peter Vardy Vans, giving me a comprehensive view of the modern commercial vehicle market. My favourite vehicle is the VW Amarok. I value its superb blend of capability and comfort. When the workday is over, I focus on my social life. I really enjoy socialising and making the most of my time out of the office. Fun Fact: I once won an STV competition years ago!
I’ve worked in sales and finance for over 20 years — from my early days at Phones 4 U to representing one of the world’s most prestigious sports car brands, Porsche. Now with Commercial and Asset Finance and Van Broker Scotland, I bring that same drive and experience to every deal. A dedicated family man in a house full of girls, if I’m not on the golf course or working, you’ll usually find me running after them..
I’ve spent over 30 years in sales and financial services — long enough to know that business is really all about people. These days, I work in asset finance, helping small businesses not just fund their vans but actually find them too. Think of me as part finance expert, part vehicle matchmaker — and occasionally, part therapist when the process gets stressful! When I’m not sorting out vans and finance deals, you’ll probably find me planning my next trip. I’ve got a bit of a reputation for it — the team in the office even gave me an unofficial “Judith Chalmers Award” for services to travel! Whether it’s a quick weekend away or a long-haul adventure, I’m always up for exploring somewhere new (and probably boring everyone with the photos after).
